This is most likely happening because your ecobee is not connected to WiFi or your ecobee app.
There are a few things you can try:
- Make sure your ecobee is connected to WiFi. To check your ecobee’s WiFi connection, from your ecobee select MENU > Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Enabled > Network.
- Log in to the ecobee app and ensure your thermostat is connected.
