What Alexa Voice Cues can I use?

For comfort-related cues, first enable the ecobee native skill by simply saying, “Alexa, enable ecobee skill.” Here are some sample cues you can use.

To adjust the temperature:

“Alexa, adjust [your thermostat name] by [x] degrees.”

“Alexa, set the [thermostat name] to [x].”

"Alexa, raise [or lower] [thermostat name] by [x] degrees."

To read the temperature:

“Alexa, what is the temperature?”

“Alexa, what’s the temperature in [room with sensor]?”

To schedule:

“Alexa, I’m going on vacation from [date] to [date].”

In addition to adjusting or reading your temperature, your ecobee can set a timer, read you the news, play music—anything that there’s an Alexa skill for!
