Why haven’t I received my rebate yet?

ecobee thermostats are eligible for a variety of rebates throughout North America where the processing time can vary by program (typically between 2 and 12 weeks).


To check the status of your rebate application, you will need to reach out to whom your application was submitted. 


I applied for my rebate directly to my utility or a government agency.

After your application was submitted through our online form, a confirmation email was sent which includes the turnaround time for the rebate.  Recent applications could still be within the processing period.  Please check the turnaround time prior to contacting our Customer Support Team. In the event that you did not receive a confirmation email, please contact our Customer Support Team.


To check the status of your application, please contact our Customer Support Team.  To investigate the status of your application our Customer Support Representatives will need the following information:


  • Name on the Application
  • ecobee email address
  • Thermostat Serial Number
  • Utility Name
  • Utility Account Number
  • Service Address
