If you're having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, confirm that your Switch+ is ready for setup by factory-resetting the device:
- Press and hold the main button for 5 seconds
- Wait for the voice prompt to say "Reset to factory settings."
- Press the main button again
- Wait for the amber light to illuminate (about 30 seconds)
- Retry registration using the ecobee app
Once you've re-registered your Switch+, it should connect to Wi-Fi.
