Installing your ecobee thermostat with a C wire

If your current thermostat has a C wire, please follow the directions below.

 

 

1) Turn off power to your HVAC equipment before doing any re-wiring, and be sure to take a picture of the wiring at your old thermostat before making any changes

2) Remove the wires from your old thermostat and connect them to their respective terminals on the ecobee

 

 

3) Place your ecobee on the wall mount, restore power to your HVAC system, and watch your ecobee come to life!
